Fia Support

Help with Fia on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Fia Plus, moving and deleting your data, partner sharing, privacy settings and accessibility.

Most answers are below, grouped by what you’re doing. Each one says where to find the setting in Fia.

Fia Plus

What’s free, and what does Fia Plus add?

Cycle tracking, your cycle record and a summary you can share with a clinician, weeks 1 to 4 of the kegel journey, Today, short sessions and four guided breathing exercises, all 40 recipes, the journal, one kegel routine and one workout you build, sharing with up to five people, export of your own logs, Discreet Mode and App Lock are free. Fia Plus adds weeks 5 to 12, 10 of the 12 workouts, the pranayama sessions, the advanced and traditional programs, more routines you build, and your trends past this week and by phase.

How much does Fia Plus cost?

It’s a monthly plan, a yearly plan or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Each country has its own price, and the App Store shows it on the purchase sheet before you confirm. There is no free trial.

How do I get Fia Plus back on a new iPhone or iPad?

Open the Fia Plus sheet in Fia and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. Family Sharing is on for all three plans.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings on your iPhone, then Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the plan renews. Lifetime is one payment and doesn’t renew.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles payments and refunds, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t see your payment or issue a refund ourselves.

Your data

Where does Fia keep what I log?

On your iPhone or iPad, under iOS’s complete file protection. It goes to your own iCloud only if you turn on iCloud sync, and into your device’s backups unless you turn that off. SideSwipe Labs has no server that holds your logs. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I move my logs to a new iPhone?

Restore the new iPhone from a backup of the old one, or turn on Settings → iCloud sync on both. A backup includes Fia’s logs unless you turned on Privacy → Keep out of iCloud Backup. Periods Fia brought in from Apple Health are never in a backup: on the new iPhone, bring them in again in Settings → Apple Health.

How do I export my logs?

Privacy → Export my data makes a PDF or CSV on your device, and Share a summary with your doctor makes a one-page PDF. They leave the device only through the share sheet, where you choose where they go.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Privacy → Delete all data removes your cycles, sessions, journal entries and settings from this iPhone or iPad, and from your iCloud if sync is or has been on here. It also ends all partner sharing. Copies in earlier backups stay until those backups are replaced or deleted.

Can you restore logs I deleted?

No. We never receive your logs, so there is no copy for us to restore. A backup you made before deleting them may still hold them.

Sharing with your people

How do I invite someone?

In Your people, make a one-time link and send it only to the person you mean. It lets in the first Apple Account that opens it, and closes after 7 days or once it’s used. Sharing starts when they join, and Your people shows the name on their Apple Account. Sharing your own cycle is for adults, 18 and over, and you can share with up to five people. If Fia asks you for a four-digit code, you’re on an earlier version: check the code on their phone to start.

What if someone else opened my link?

The person you meant finds it already used, and Fia asks them to tell you. In Your people, stop sharing with whoever joined, then send a new link. What they saw before you stopped can’t be taken back.

How do I pause or stop sharing?

In that person’s sharing settings. Pause, and nothing new is sent; they keep what they already have. Stop, and what you shared is deleted from iCloud, and their Fia forgets it the next time it opens. They aren’t told.

Someone sent me something upsetting. What can I do?

Stop sharing, or leave their sharing, and what comes from them ends at once. To tell us, use Report something they sent in that person’s sharing settings, which opens an email draft to us. We can’t see what’s shared, so tell us what happened in the email.

Privacy on your iPhone

How do I lock Fia?

Turn on Lock Fia with Face ID in Privacy. Fia then asks for Face ID or Touch ID each time it opens.

What does Discreet Mode do?

It opens Fia on a plain launch screen named Wellness, swaps words such as period on widgets, the Lock Screen and in every notification, and names phases Phase 1 to 4. A plain gray Home Screen icon is there if you want one.

Can reminders stay private?

Yes. Private notifications make every reminder say only that you have one. Lock Screen widgets show only the day unless you turn on Cycle details at a glance.

Accessibility

On iPhone and iPad, Fia supports VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, Dark Interface, Differentiate Without Color Alone, Sufficient Contrast, Reduced Motion and Captions. On Apple Watch it supports VoiceOver, Larger Text, Dark Interface, Differentiate Without Color Alone, Sufficient Contrast and Reduced Motion.

Spoken cues in sessions are optional, and every cue is on screen too, as words and a timer. With Closed Captions on, each spoken line also shows above the session’s controls. Fia has no video, so there are no audio descriptions. If something in Fia doesn’t work with how you set up your iPhone, email us and say which setting you use.

Something wrong with an exercise?

In a session, Report a problem with this exercise opens an email draft to us with the exercise’s name and Fia’s version, and nothing is sent unless you send it.
